მინიმალიზმის ენით გამოსახულ, ყოველდღიური ყოფითობის ამსახველ უამრავ ნივთსა თუ პერსონაჟსს შორის, რომელსაც ხშირად მიმართავდა მიშა გოგრიჭიანი, შესაძლოა, ისეთი მარტივად გეომეტრიული და ზედმეტად კონკრეტული ობიექტიც კი გვინახავს, როგორიც, მაგალითად დომინოს ქვებია.
-„თითქოს სადღაც მინახავს კიდეც მიშას დახატული დომინოს ქვები“- ამბობს ვახო და დომინოს ქვების ორ ფერად სერიას ქმნის, როგორც მიშა გოგრიჭიანის ვიზუალური ენის რეპლიკას. ამ სერიასთან დიალოგში მისი მასშტაბური ნამუშევრები :„ბირჟა“, თოვლიანი მთების კონტურები და შავ-თეთრი დომინოს, დიდი ზომის, გამოსახულება შედის. ხოლო, ასანთისგან შექმნილი ინსტალაცია, რომელიც გამოფენაზე დაგხვდებათ, ერთგვარ ბმაშია მიშა გოგრიჭიანის ცნობილ ფერწულ ტილოსთან „სასტუმრო ივერია“ და საერთოდ, მის მიერ ასანთის, როგორც ობიექტის ხშირად გამოყენებასთან თავის ტილოებში.
კონცეფციას, საბოლოოდ, გალერისტი დედიკა ბულია კრავს მიშა გოგრიჭიანის ერთი, ძველი ნამუშევრის ფრაზით - „სცადეთ კიდევ ერთხელ“. ეს ფრაზა, თავის დროზე, მხატვარმა კოკა-კოლას ბოთლის თავსახურის, ზეთით შესრულებულ ნამუშევრს დაურთო, რომელიც 2014 წელს Dédicace Gallery - დედიკას გალერეის წინამორბედ - „გალა გალერეაში“ მისი გამოფენის სახელწოდებად იქცა.

Dédicace Gallery opens its season with an exhibition by Vakho Bugadze.
The concept of this exhibition was conceived naturally in the artist’s studio, born from the process of painting, from thoughts, and from an imagined dialogue and longing with a fellow artist and friend. It is dedicated to the memory of Misha Gogrichiani.
It was exactly this imagined dialogue with his friend, combined with an exploration of Misha’s artistry, technique, plasticity, forms, and colours, that led Vakho Bugadze, almost unintentionally, to create a series of works completely “removed” from his own signature style.
This is how Bugadze’s well-known large-scale canvases — paintings that once graced at the edge of abstraction, enveloped in misty histories and memories — were transformed into vivid colours, distinct forms, and concrete objects, expressed in the figurative-conceptual language characteristic of Misha Gogrichiani.
Among the many objects and characters of everyday life that Gogrichiani frequently portrayed with the language of minimalism, one might encounter something as geometric, overly specific, and as simple as domino pieces. “I think I have even seen domino pieces painted by Misha,” Vakho remarks, and in response he creates a two-toned series of domino stones, a visual echo of Gogrichiani’s artistic replica.
In dialogue with this series, Bugadze presents his monumental works Birja, snowy mountain contours, and a large-scale black-and-white depiction of domino pieces.
The installation made from matches, which visitors will encounter at the exhibition, is in a kind of connection with Misha Gogrichiani’s well-known painting Hotel Iveria and, more broadly, with his frequent use of matches as an object in his canvases.
The exhibition’s concept is ultimately framed by the gallerist Dedika Bulia, who recalls a phrase from one of Misha Gogrichiani’s earlier works: “Try Once Again.” The artist once attached this phrase to a painting executed in oil on a Coca-Cola bottle cap, which in 2014, at Dédicace Gallery’s predecessor Gala Gallery, became the title of his exhibition.

This time, Dédicace Gallery will “try once again” to dedicate its space to Vakho Bugadze’s painterly transformation and to the memory of his dear friend.
